Clarke Nicklin have announced a new partnership with The Christie. The Christie raises money to fund research into new cancer drugs and treatment options, and is an incredible support function for patients and families.
Clarke Nicklin employees are aiming to raise as much as possible to support the ongoing research and treatments by The Christie.
Raising money for The Christie is very close to the hearts for those at Clarke Nicklin, as one of their employees, Adam Burke, was diagnosed with a brain tumour last year and has received ongoing support and treatment from The Christie.
Fighting fit and back to work Adam commented: “The Christie is an incredible charity and an invaluable centre for so many people. At the age of 23 I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and after numerous operations and a lengthy stay in hospital I was discharged and referred to The Christie. The centre is extremely close to my heart as it provided me with the treatment and care I desperately needed, and provided myself and my family with a support network.
I am truly grateful for the work of all the staff at The Christie, as are so many others, and I am thankful to Clarke Nicklin for choosing The Christie as their charity of the year.”
Over the next couple of weeks Clarke Nicklin employees will be entering runs, bike rides and coming up with lots of fundraising ideas to help raise as much as possible over the next year.
