Andrew Baggott
Andrew Baggott is CN’s Managing Partner, having been so since 2004 when he acquired the firm. Prior to this, he gained many years’ experience at one of the top four UK firms and a large corporate finance led https://cnca.co.uk/corporate-finance/independent practice.
He specialises in delivering strategic business planning advice to business owners and entrepreneurs so they can achieve the best results possible for their endeavours and maximise returns. Andrew also heads up the Corporate Finance team who undertake a complete range of transactions for clients.
Scott Herbert

Scott Herbert
Scott joined forces with Andrew Baggott at CN shortly after Andrew bought the business back in 2004. Under their stewardship they have built and developed the CN brand and service delivery.
Scott has 35 years work experience and has held roles within some of the UKs leading Financial services companies.
He holds professional qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Pension management institute and the Chartered insurance institute. He is also a proud member of the prestigious Russell Study Group in London, which is made up of some the countries most experienced and leading financial specialists.
Scott provides friendly financial advice to clients all over the Uk who benefit from his wealth of experience and wisdom.
When not working Scott enjoys family time with his wife and adult children and not forgetting his 4 dogs!
He enjoys travelling, boating, walking (the 4 dogs), Real Ale and is a lifetime Manchester City supporter.
Tony Jakara

Tony Jakara
Tony Jakara is tax partner at CN. He joined the firm in 2001, having gained substantial tax experience prior to that with several other regional practices.
Tony oversees the efficient running of the tax compliance function of the business, and provides expertise in tax enquiries and investigations covering both personal and corporate tax.
Paul Mellor

Paul Mellor - Partner
Paul joined CN in 2004, and became partner in 2011. He is relationship partner specialising in owner managed businesses from start-ups, family businesses and larger businesses. He ensures clients receive the best advice on business structure, tax savings, and evolving the business as it grows.
Paul is also training partner at CN, overseeing the training and development of accountancy students training within the business.
Graham Travis

Graham Travis is a partner at CN and joined the business in 2010. Graham has attained a wealth of experience in accountancy having worked for international and independent practices prior to CN. He specialises in audit and business advisory services.
Paul Draper

Paul Draper - Tax Partner
Paul Draper joined CN in 2010. Throughout his career he has specialised in tax and has previously trained with Arthur Anderson, KPMG and RSM Tenon. Since 2010 he has focussed on advising private clients, entrepreneurs and family businesses of all types and sizes on strategic planning and tax saving measures. Paul’s advice covers all areas of taxation, with his vast experience including transactional tax, income extraction, property tax, and R&D tax credits and patent box.

Gareth Jones is Director at CN and joined the business as a graduate having completed his degree in finance management. He has completed his accountancy qualification with CN and developed through the ranks to director where he manages a team and also a portfolio of clients specialising in owner managed businesses and start up’s.
Claire Challinor

Claire Challinor – Manager
Claire, who started working at CN after she finished Aquinas college as a trainee, has been with the company for nearly thirteen years. She is ACA qualified and has built up her own client base – working with many clients that range from small business start-ups, family-run businesses and also larger businesses.
Claire is on-hand to help with year-end accounts, VAT returns and managements, as well as providing training on various computer software packages.
Susan Cusick

Susan Cusick - Payroll Manager
Susan who has over 20 years of payroll experience joined CN in early 2023 and is an integral part of the service offering to our existing and future clients.
Rob Bone
Marketing Manager
Rob Bone - Marketing Manager
Rob joined the company in September 2023 following stints working for a nationwide law firm and before that the Citation Group. Originally from Plymouth, Devon, Rob made the move up the Cheshire in April 2022. His background has always been in marketing with a focus on digital. He skills lie in website design, SEO, PPC and email marketing.
Rob commented: “It’s really exciting to be joining the CN Group. I can’t wait to get going and see where we can take the company in the future. There’s lots of potential for growth and a willingness to chase it – It’s an extremely exciting time to be working at CN.”

John Crawford

John Crawford - Tax Manager
John joined the firm in 2022 as the Tax Manager, assisting Tony Jakara in the day to day running of the tax department. John has been in tax ever since graduating from university in 2013 and has worked in both specialist tax firms and other regional firms of accountants. As well as managing the compliance of the department, John assists Paul Draper with various tax advisory projects that the firm undertakes.
Beverley Richardson
Practice and Compliance Manager
Beverley Richardson – Compliance Manager
Certified FCA, Beverley has an abundance of experience within accounts and audit. She has over 19 years’ experience working as a senior audit manager and audit director. Beverley has been working on the internal accounts for the practice, monitoring ongoing monthly and quarterly basis and ensuring all financial compliance is being met.
Beverley commented: “It’s great being part of an ambitious and forward-thinking business and I’m delighted to bring a wealth of experience that fits the role perfectly.”
